I have used betamil gm for a long time and I stopped using it when I came to know it is a steroid so I immediately stopped applying that cream later after few days my skin become dry, irritating and itchy I am really suffering a lot by this effect.

Yes. Fungal infection or Ring worm. When occurs in groin, called as jock itch. Usually fungal infection is common in moist areas of body like skin folds. It's mostly circular or round in appearance. May be red or black in colour. Treatment depending on the type and severity. Avoid sharing clothes, towels and soap; sweating also increases it. Itching and red patches can be due to many reasons like fungal infection, contact allergy, psoriasis etc
I need to see the patches to decide the treatment. Meanwhile you can try and keep the area as dry as possible and wear loose fitting clothes.

Helo doctor. I am suffering from a skin disease. Last year I had scabies but that was treated well but since 4 months an another skin disease arise on my buttocks and between legs. The skin get reddish or white sometimes and also it is so dry. Problem is this is so much itchy. I use lobate gm cream. Whenever I use lobate gm skin get clear and no itching. But when I stopped using lobate gm .the itching starts again and skin got dry. What should I do and whats the disease actually?
