I am hypertensive and diabetic type 2 I take Metoprolol with Telmisartan in the morning and Enalapril at night, I use to drink alcohol before and stopped from a year now, since I had rapid heart beat and anxious persona I preferred beta blockers but when I took Atenolol I find it cool but my doctor gave me Metoprolol vs Atenolol, Metoprolol gave me vivid dreams and disturbed sleep can I have a good advice please My creatinine levels are 1.54 now after re check its 1.23 any good suggestion please I take Tenglyn M 1/2 + 1/2 for diabetes.

Enalapril and telmisartan should not be combined. Atenolol causes less sleep disturbances than metoprolol. They have never been directly tested versus each other, take the one that you find better.
