Yes Amtas AT is a more powerful antihypertensive than Metoprolol XL.
Amtas AT contain combination of 2 salts.
Metro XL has just a salt.
So I guess you must be having high BP even on Metro XL and that is why he changed to the new drug.

What is dose of metoprolol? high doses of beta blockers like this can lead to weakness but that is not weakness but feeling of relaxed! yes you can take multivitamin. You must continue with metoprolol only as other reports are normal, this medicine protests the heart, specially if bp is fluctuating but talk to your doctor about the dose. My suggestion is 25 mg /day every morning and in evening if required if bp is high on borderline. Do moderate exercise to boost up metabolism.

Metpure-XL is a beta blockers metoprolol and it causes sexual dysfunction and impotence ( this is the side effect but this is a minor side effect and it decreases sex but very low )but in your case disease or tension of disease may be responsible for low sexual desire .

If its normal den must be bcz of medicine. You can reduce it to 12. 5 mg then recheck for few days and den gradually stop.
