It comes in 500 mg and 1000 mg can be taken after food because of its adverse effect to cause gastritis.

I was suffering from an anxiety disorder the doc gave me methylcobalamin 1500 mcg once a day for 25 days due to which I am not able to concentrate on my studies like I used to and theres hurdles in my day to day tasks. What best thing can be done as when I am concentrating I am feeling strongness in my forehead and not able to focus properly and learn properly I do not know why he gave me such but its like over strongness and along with methylcobalamin he also gave me benfotiamine-150mg, alpha lipoic acid-100mg, chromium picolinate-200mcg & inositol-150mg I asked him this is causing much problems in my day to day tasks but he said this med is for strongness of nerves but is it given to younger children who are studying my ques is this. please suggest what best can be done to gain that confidence and concentration fast for my exams.

Please do not take any medicine as mutivitamin preparations. They are not of much help. You have to avoid stress by meditation. It will increase your concentration. Consult doctor.

Hi doc, I need some advised, we are trying our best to have a baby, I am married for 3 years now, I am 30 years old, my weight is 49kls, I have pcos, and my ob prescribe me duphaston for 5 days twice a day, and 3 months treatment of metformin and folic acid. When I finish taking my 5 days duphaston, after 3 days I got my period with bad abdominal cramps, but my menstruation is just light and it last for 2 days only. Now I am already 38 days in my metformin and folic acid, but wondering why my menstruation is not yet coming and I always have my egg white discharge since I started taking metformin and folic acid but, I feel bloated, heaviness of abdomen and gasses on my lower stomach most of the time. By the way, me and my husband is active in sexual activity. Is there any chance of getting pregnant when I am still on my medicine and almost 1 month no menstruation? Please help me, as I am already confused and I don't want to perform a pregnancy test this time as it will make me depressed if the result is still negative. Thank you and god bless.

Hi,
please do beta hcg blood test to rule out pregnancy. You can fet pregnant with those medicines. With duphaston, sometimes the bleeding is less. All the best. Meet a fertility doctor if there is no pregnancy.

Hi. I have PCOS. Have tried homeopathy, ayurvedic both but nothing worked. As per allopathy there is no cure for this problem. Only if you want to conceive then medicine is available. If I go on for metformin. It turns out to be acidic and has side effects too. I am not diabetic. Stress levels are high as working and little time for physical activity too. Please guide if any solution is there.

Hi doctor I got my last period on 2nd april 2016. My next period was due on 5th may. But as it did not come I tested pregnancy result was positive. I want to know what precaution I should start taking now. I was having metformin for pcos should I stop that? I am also having elevit prenatal multi vitamins and 5 mg folic acid can I continue that?

Please remember, PCOS is a hormonal problem and is not "curable". Periods may become irregular again, if you stop Dronis. But the most important treatment for PCOS is reducing weight by diet and exercise. Continue Dronis as long as you do not want to get pregnant.
