Hi. RA is something for which you need lifelong treatment. There may be certain exacerbating factors like cold weather, certain foods which can increase the pain. Better to prevent these episodes. Avoid sitting Cross legged.
Avoid Squatting-
Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.
Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.
Contrast Bath.
Sports Taping.
Gentle Stretching

it is curable if you restrict your diet , and adopt Plant Based diet, Gluten free diet, avoid dairy products, avoid Nightshade category foods, and incorporate Good amount of anti-inflammatory foods into your daily diet.

Daily dietary supplements can reduce the Inflammation and reverse it when combined with Proper diet eg. Paleo Diet etc.
