Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
The glucose level mentioned (fasting around 200 mg) is too high. It means present treatment is not adequate enough. Ideally when properly treated fasting should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. At these levels one feels very fit and healthy. Plus long term complications of diabetes can be either postponed or prevented. Hence, there has to be an up-gradation of current treatment. Plus we will have to give a close look at your dietary intake ...more

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
T2 diabetes is usually treated with oral drugs initially. In some cases if blood glucose control is not adequate, then Insulin injections are added. So there are many patients who are given both oral tablets and insulin to achieve proper control of blood glucose. Thanks.

Sometimes people who are under weight gluformin (metformin) is not good choice if sugars are not under control or hba1c is persistently high.
You should try and strictly follow diabetic diet (without direct sugar on day to day basis, oil restricted to 3 tsp daily- high fiber inform of vegetables fruits and sprouts) and regular minimum 45minutes exercise/walking/sports activity.

Dear Mr Sumit....From your provided information I could derive that you have been resistant to the medicines which could reduce your blood pressure.... I fear that you may have become a Type 1 Diabetic patient....However as you been resistant to allopathic drugs I would suggest you to try Homoeopathy for your condition.....Take Homoeopathic R.S. BHARGAVA'S URANIUM NIT 3X tablets, 1 tablet thrice daily in empty stomach for at least 1 month and then again check your blood sugar level

The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. We remain seated most of the time and stand for very short periods of time. Unfortunately walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. This is a worldwide trend and is seen across all ages and cultures. These ...more
