Mr. lybrate-user,
Your glucose levels look quite good. Pp can be brought down by another 10 to 15 mg. That is possible by diet control and increased extent of daily exercise. Thanks.

You should get your AVG sugar checked and fasting too then n then only your medicines could be adjusted.
You should never increase or decrease your medication on your own as it might lead to major side effects.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
madam you can definitely take Covid Vaccine. There is no contraindication. In fact people with diabetes & high BP need to take the vaccine to get better protection against corona virus infection.
Maintaining a strict glucose control (FBG < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.5%) is definitely an advantageous. So please go ahead and take the vaccine. Thanks.

lybrate-user,
First it is essential to check whether you have t1 or t2 diabetes, because of your age (19 years). So please go to a good clinical laboratory and get a c-peptide level done. Then come back in a private conversation or consult a local physician and get the necessary treatment. Because if you have t1 dm, then onl...more

Hello, thanks for the query.
Fasting glucose 208 mg is too high. Even pp 250 mg is also suggestive of improper control. Have you tested the hba1c%? That is equally important. Please check that and inform. From the glucose levels it is clear that current treatment is not really helping, needs to be upgraded. There are multiple options from which one can choose. However, there is a need to know following details: present dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise, lipid profile, serum creatinin...more

As your sugar after food is 260 it seems that more tighter control of blood glucose levels is needed
the exact blood glucose for you may differ according to your age and associated comorbidities.
