Already another doctor answered that it may be a sleep disorder. You need to get diagnosed and assessed properly by a psychiatrist.
Both diazepam and clonazepam are of the same group of drugs called benzodiazepine. Both have addiction potential in vulnerable persons. The sedation is for longer time in diazepam than clonazepam. Both are dose dependent. Knowing these, if you still want a benzodiazepine only, clonazepam is better, because it acts only for 6-8 hours.

Dear lybrate-user,
Its can be very upsetting if you have anxiety and depression, I can understand how you maybe feeling. Anxiety and depression medication are helpful in healing you cope but you would need support in the form of counselling and therapy. I would even suggest clinical hypnotherapy for your condition. Its important to get to the core issue, where tgis began and why. Pls try to practise deep breathing and praṇayam till then. I Hope you feel better soon.

Hello lybrate-user.
Clonazepam is not the solution for anxiety and depression. It only provides temporary relief that too for short span of time after which it is inefficient. You need to find the problem that causes anxiety and try to solve it.

60-90 beats per minute. Clonazepam should not be taken alone on a longer run for anxiety. You might need SSRI or SNRI group of medications. Consult a psychiatrist. Social drinking and non veg won't have much effect on anxiety. All the best.

Hello, You are under weight, need to gain your weight upto 66 kg please.
Clonazepam works to calm your nerves hence withdrawal of the same might cause dullness, of course. You should opt certain natural norms to get rid of the said drug, permanently. Go for a walk in the morning to regulate blood circulation to supply oxygen to your brain to control nerves. Go for meditation to reduce stress in order to calm your nerves inorder to produce sound sleep.

Yes definitely if will not be effective as you are just suppressing your neural activity with meds in the sense paralyzing the effect with meds for few hours - as you term it as sleep. You need a proper treatment to restore your sleep pattern provided your body age permits the same.
