Hi, please stop this combination cream. Use sunscreen like sunban or photostable every 2 hours when out in sun. You can prefer milder creams with niacinamide or vitamin c or kojic to apply at night for a few weeks. For specific recommendations, please send pictures to me or consult a local dermatologist.

Melalite xl is hydroquinone, mometasone and tretinoin triple combination cream. When used unsupervised, for longer periods, it may lead to exogenous oochronosis (resistant pigmentation due to hydroquinone) which is quite difficult to treat, and also it can cause side effects due to steroid component like acne, skin thinning/atrophy, erythema, steroid dependence, etc. Tretinoin component can lead to dryness of skin. Hello, Twinkle cream contains Tretinoin and hydroquinone which is not to be used during pregnancy as its harmful to fetus. Melasma and pigmentation are common in pregnancy due to hormones. Cosider uing milder pigmentation agents like mild glycolic acid, kojic acid, niacinamide arbutin etc Eg Melaglow cream and plenty of sunscreen three times a day. Consult a dermatologist.
