Recovery will take few weeks, for that foremost thing is use a good broad spectrum sunscreen according to your skin and use it 15 to 20 mins before sun exposure and repeat its application every 3 hours if you are out. Hello, There are various treatment for pigmentation. From creams containing hydroquinone to milder ones of Kojic acid, niacinamide, arbutin. There is options of glutathione injections to oral tablets with vitamin C, also laser toning also gives good results. Laser toning using Q switch Nd Yag laser is an option but results variable.
