Dear Lybrate user,
siloderm mixi cream is a combination of three medicines: beclometasone, neomycin, and clotrimazole which treat skin infections. Beclometasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Hello-
balanitis is an inflammation of the glans penis (head of the penis); it is fairly common and affects approximately 3-11% of males during their lifetime. Posthitis is an inflammation of the foreskin (prepuce). Balanoposthitis involves both the glans and the foreskin and occurs in approximately 6% of uncircumcised males.

Do not use combination creams as they have steroid in them which does not cure the fungus but gives temporary relief. Use nizral cream twice a day on the itchy areas for 4 weeks regularly. Wear light loose breathable fabric like cotton to avoid sweating and aggravation of fungus.
