Hi, since your period is delayed you must have checked urine pregnancy test .Is it negative? That is why your doctor has prescribed progesterone for withdrawal bleeding. Once you get your period you will be given Tablets for the egg formation and a follicular scan will be done serially to track the egg development. Once it matures an inj may or may not be prescribed for the egg release and will be asked to do intercourse at that time so that chances to get pregnant is more. Please do not worry.
