Belonging to the type called benzimidazole, Mebenth syrup is an anthelmintic agent which helps in treating worm infections and infection like giardia, ascariasis, guinea worm, ringworm , hookworm and pinworm infections or hydatid disease caused by parasites.

This medication is usually taken orally and it is also available in the form of chewable tablets. The dosage is administered after thorough diagnosis of your condition, the rate of response to the treatment and other health factors. It is important to not miss a dose, and continue the syrup until the symptoms of the disease disappear completely.
