As a suggestion I prefer not to use these inhalers. Cuz u r used to it , it's very difficult to get rid of it.Cuz u get best results using a inhaler INSTANTLY. so you will not make up your mind to find a permanent solution or you are not ready.

I don't know how long your son have to use. Cuz it's said by his immunity.

Improve his immunity power or health against allergy. That's the only solution.

I prefer to have left as nd fermented liquids for 1 month.

steam inhalation helps clear the mucus in the airways and that's why estimated as the best home remedy to treat common cold and respiratory infections. Coming to your question, steam inhalation with careful precautions, dialy for 10 to 15 minutes, 2 times a day is good for your airways. Remember the fumes should not be hot but warm in temperature.
