Good evening. Lichen planus is quite an itchy and stubborn. Topical corticosteroids are the 1st choice especially when lesions are few in number. If still actively persistent or worsening, stronger creams/ointments may be tried along with tablets/capsules to control the disease activity. Even if lichen planus is controlled, it tends to leave behind marks which are very persistent and difficult to treat.

1. Do saline gargles daily.
2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also.
3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of AC. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, When there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected.

If the cough is persisting for long, get a chest xray done. It will help to assess the condition of the patient.

Complete cure is difficult, complete control is possible. Keep a fixed doctor to see this condition, asthma action plan, and you can do a skin prick allergy test to find out the allergy causing substance, and take up immunotherapy thereafter for getting complete cure, which is again not 100 percent reliable mode.
