If associated with eye pain, redness and discharge, it is mostly acute conjunctivities,
put topical eyedrops moxiflox and flur four times a day and tear substitute like genteal four times a day in d affected eye. It would be okay in 3 -4 days. Take care of eye hygiene that you yourself/other family members don't share the clothes and hankie of the affected eye to the normal eye else the normal eye wd also contract the infection. You can wash your eyes twice to thrice but not very frequently ...more

Hello lybrate-user. Sorry about your eye trouble. If you have irritation along with discharge, it would be more likely due to infection of the eyes. You should use an antibiotic eye drops. Use moxifloxacin eye drops 4 times in a day along with tobramycin eye drops 4 times in a day. Keep a gap of 15 minutes between two types of drops. 1. Moxifloxacin eye drops - 4 times a day
2. Cmc eye drops - 4 times a day
3. T. Levocetrizine- 1 at bed time
visit an ophthalmologist if the symptoms continue even after 1 week of this treatment.
