You did not mention any other drugs she is taking and whats the investigations done to her to confirm the disease. This looks like food allergy to diet in the previous night. Did you take prawns; shell fish sea fish etc. Lot of nonveg food especially cooked outside with coloring agents can cause this. Eat from home. Pain killers can cause skin swelling. But food is the first suspect.
