Hello.
Your Dr. has given you ipt (isoniazid preventive therapy and Dr. must have ruled out active tb before giving you ipt). Isoniazid prevents latent tb infection in to developing in to active tb (disease with signs and symptoms) as its 10 times more common to get active tb in hiv pos pt than in non hiv pos pt. Pl take pyridoxine with isoniazid. Good to see your cd4 count and vl result. Thanks.

Yes it will be positive.
One it becomes positive, it remains positive lifelong.
Those having Mounteux negative are at more risk of developing miliary tuberculosis or tubercular meningitis.
You are at more risk of developing miliary tuberculosis or tubercular meningitis, if you don't have Monteux positive.
