Hexicof ls has antihistaminics and levosalbutamol and mucolytics. Since you r already on and inhalers montek fx which has antihistaminics already and bronchodilators I will not advice using a substitute. Its better to find plain mucolytics of some other brand.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a marked dropper and take it as directed. Macbery oral drops may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

Expectorants help thin mucus, making it easier to cough up. The ingredient guaifenesin is the only expectorant in the U.S., so look for it on the label if you need an expectorant. Suppressants help cut the number of times you cough. The active ingredient listed is usually dextromethorphan (DM).

You can try products like guaifenesin (mucinex) that thin mucus so it won't sit in the back of your throat or your chest. This type of medication is called an expectorant, which means it helps you to expel mucus by thinning and loosening it.
