It would be better for you to discontinue montelukast and consult an ent surgeon to assess your symptoms. Cough syrups are comparable to one another and offer some respite from cough but honey 2-3 ml taken as...more

Not advisable for regular use. Better modify diet. Take whole fibres leafy vegetables and raw fruits. Whole grains are good.

Hello. I think you have allergic conjunctivitis.
1. Eye allergies, called allergic conjunctivitis, are a common condition that occurs when the eyes react to something that irritates them (called an allergen).
2. The eyes produce a substance called histamine to fight off the allergen. As a result, the eyelids and conjunctiva (the thin, filmy membrane that covers the inside of your eyelids) become red, swollen and itchy, with tearing and burning.

I think medicines given to him are ok. Prevention is very much necessary. Good personal hygiene, avoiding dampness in folds. Regualr bath twice a day if possible, antibacterial and anti fungal soap, avoiding polyfibre or denim clothes, use of cotton is necessary. Because of long duration and location of problem he must visit same skin specialist very regularly for follow up and treatment changes. Even after cure recurrence is common hence continued and long duration care.
