I am 5 weeks 5 days pregnant. yesterday had bleeding so went for checkup doctor advised for USG and in the reports heartbeat was not found doctor injected Proluton depot and asked for another USG done after 10 days. Today I am not having bleeding. Is there chances for my proper pregnancy. I am very nervous. I had miscarriage before 2 years.

There is chance of normal continuation of pregnancy. Just continue with the medicines and take complete bed rest.

You need to take this injection every 14 weeks. Don't worry about periods. Many women stop having periods after this injection.

Health Query

In the last month I am bleeding after sex, after going to the toilet and sometimes when lifting heavy objects. I have lower stomach pain similar to cramps when I have sex. I am on no birth control and use plenty of lubricant during sex. Although had only stopped the depot injection in november 2018. I have not had a regular period as such since then. Only light bleeding.

It is common not to get a period or scanty period or delayed periods when breastfeeding is going on. So during this time, it is important to use reliable family planning method so that either you are not worried about pregnancy now and then or don’t miss diagnosing pregnancy early.
With provera inj. as such period does not come before 3 montths

I will not advise you to take inj. Depot provera as you are breast feeding. Try first with non hormal agents like trapic mf orally twice daily for a week. Your bleeding will stop soon.
