Hello.
Unless you have taken hcg injections the pregnancy test report is most likely to be correct.
To be reasonably sure you can do a blood for bhcg estimation.

If a pregnancy test (beta hcg) is done soon after (a week or so) administration of the hcg injection you could have a fake or false positive pregnancy test. It takes some time for the body to completely wash out the hcg drug. You can repeat the beta hcg test every 48 hours to see if it's rising or not. If there is no pregnancy the value will drop and you will get periods soon.

You must have been explained when you started these that not getting periods is common with this type of family planning method. Depending on whether you want to avoid pregnancy still or not and whether not getting period is acceptable to you or not decision can be taken about stopping or changing family planning method.

Hello lybrate-user,
I am sorry to know you are experiencing bleeding in pregnancy, I know it can be very stressful.
Bleeding in pregnancy can be due to a lot of reasons.
Proluton is a drug which helps to support the pregnancy. Howver many times women can still bleed or undergo miscarriage despite getting proluton.
Proluton doesn't cause bleeding. Hope that helps.
