YOu need not worry about pregnancy as you are taking depo Provera Depo-Provera® is a female hormonal method of birth control. It's very effective in preventing pregnancy. Depo-Provera® contains a synthetic (man-made) form of the hormone progesterone, called depot medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA). The Depo-Provera® injection gives 3 months protection against pregnancy.

Hai.. At 39, your ovarian reserve will be lower than previous years... AMH is probably less than 1.. Yet you will respond to HMG stimulation from day 2 without luprolide suppression, since for failing ovaries, LH is also required in the stimulation protocol.. If your doctor will not get offended, you may request her to try.. Best wishes..

Hi lybrate-user, do not worry about getting premature menopause due to lupride because it's a temporary effect. You will become normal after a while because you may be in a down regulation phase. So try to get the serum amh and serum estradiol test done and send me the results. Meanwhile take calcium supplements. Take care.

Just to update you that Proluton, Susten and Duphastone all are progesterone which are given to support pregnancy. In any case of untoward event or crisis these progesterone help in sustaining pregnancy. In most of clinical scenarios either susten or duphastone (daily dosages) is combined with Proluton depot (500 mg weekly basis ). I think you should clarify with your obstetrician which combination they are ok with. On top of that I would recommend you to stick to one physici...more
