There a number of rapid acting insulins like regular or analogs, all are safe and effective to use along with Glargine. There is also a combination available with regular insulin, which can be used. Thanks.

Treatment for t1 dm is only insulin injection. If glucose levels are not controlled then dosage may have to be increased. Plus there is a need to take proper diet, that provides exact amount of calories. It is necessary to avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, bakery items, foods made of maida.
