he is responding well but IMATINIB need to continue for the whole life. even if BCR ABL Comes to zero. There is another tablet Spricel but its costly and advised to those who are not responding to Imatinib.

Good News is cml is controllable U need to get a test called bcr - abl quantitative every 3 to 6 months and values should be 0.01 and for best response it should be 0.0032 which is called MR4. 5 U need to take medication at bed time with glass of water and never leave the medication. It will continue for long.
