My age is 49 yrs. My triglycerides level, is265 &vldl is53vitamin12 is 142 &vitamin 1s17. 3.i have no problem till date but may have in future. doctor has advised to take rosuvastatin10 mg at night for 3 months.

As after stopping rosuvastatin the levels will come back to previous again.
And do regular diet and exercise.

Please can you tell me whether any of the following drugs would be upset by my husband taking vitamin c? He has been on chemotherapy and probably won’t get his last treatment due to the corona virus. Thanks levetiracetam (kepra) seizure rosuvastatin sodium valproate (epilim) seizure tamsulosin prostate furosemide.

From what I studied I found no major interaction between Vitamin C and the aforementioned drugs your Husband is taking.However please consult your treating Doctor for further guidance.

Hey I use yamini lupin tablets that is oral contraceptive pills from last 7 months and on 28th of jan I stopped the pills And on 2nd of feb I had a withdrawal bleed for 2 days My last periods were on 17 on jan and dis month I missed my periods Today I test my urine pregnancy test it shows negative Any advice I may be pregnant or not And any advice how much time to get pregnant after stopping the pills.

Hi Megha, usually it takes 3 months for normal fertility to return but it may occur anytime after discontinuing pill. Wait for some time, you will have your withdrawal bleeding.

I was tested with high cholesterol and triglycerides last year. Ldl-119, hdl-34, vldl-44, triglycerides-240. This was my report in January, 2015. I was prescribed Rosuvastatin, 10. Got my lipid profile done in June, 2015. Reports were: LDL-49, HDL-40, VLDL-16, Triglycerides-140. The doctor had then put me on a 5mg dose of rosuvastatin. And he asked me to take another 5mg rosuvastatin tablet every 2 days. So the dosage became: 5mg, 5mg, 10mg, 5mg, 5mg, 10mg. Now I got myself tested again in Jan, my triglycerides had gone up to 200 and ldl to 58. Hdl remains on 42. Has this got to do with the peculiar dosage? Shall I just continue with the 5mg dosage daily or a 10 mg daily? I'm otherwise healthy. A little hypotensive. But since October, I have quit my previous job and now I'm doing a desk job. So I have a sedentary lifestyle and have put on 5 kilos. Should I go for a low carb, low fat diet too?

I had taken the sildenafil 100 mg tablet on 14th November for the first time in my life. After 10 days on 24th November I experienced chest pain and had to do Angiography which revealed the thrombosis in LAD. Considering my age 39 years doctors decided to avoid Angioplasty and two injections of Antiplatelet and anti coagulation was given to dissolve the thrombosis. Now I am feeling better and no more chest pain. Medicines being taken 1. brilinta 90 mg, 2. Met XL 12.5, 3. Ecosprin 75, 4.Rosave 20 mg, 5.Homochek. My question: Is the Sildenafil 100 mg medicine responsible for the thrombosis in LAD. I was a healthy person with no complain of chest pain or any other symptoms of heart disease then how and when this blood clot was developed in left coronary artery.

I sought the advice on the following recently. "Ultra sound of KUB reports Prevoid 350 cc, I Post void: 81 cc and II Post Void: 16 cc / Prostate: 25 cc. Enlarged in size. What does it indicates? Is it Grade I Prostatomegaly? Is it normal? Or any medicine to be taken" I thank you very much for the advice of various doctors suggesting to consult a urologist. Urologist opined it as Grade I Prostatomegaly. Urologist suggested to take medicine named Rapilif (Silodosin) 4 mg for a few months. I wish to know the effectiveness any interaction with the medicines I am taking. I am presently taking the following medicines. MetXL 12.5, Rosufit 10 mg, and Remylin D. Thank you once again.

My father is 55 years old, he has diabetic since 17 years, he has asthma and he is taking cholesterol tablet since 4 years (rosave f10) but since 7 days he was hospitalised due to stomach infection, his neutrophil and tlc also increased, now all reports are normal, ultrasound report show gastritis problem, right now he is on medicines. Please suggest me a complete diet chart which is suitable for all health problems. Ex-can I give cow milk, dry fruits because he has gastritis and so many problems and still on medicines and he has gastritis problem also. Please suggest me Dr. Thank you.

He should avoid spicy, fried and sour food items. Should take blend diet. Yes,he can take cow milk and can also take dry fruits like almonds, walnuts but in moderation.
He should avoid saturated fats, trans fats, red meat, eggs to control high cholesterol.
He should be on diabetic diet.

My mother 77 years old is suffering from chronic constipation and piles since last many years. She was regularly taking pruvict 1.0 and softolax powder and was able to somehow manage the constipation problem. But now since last few weeks, these medications does not seem to work. She is also taking duphalac, but not able to pass stool for 2-3 days. She is also taking medicines for urine incontinence (mirago 25, soliten 5), arthritis medicines (hcqs 200, saaz 500), thyroid medicine (thyronorm 37.5), rosufit 10 and arbitel 20. Her constipation and piles situation has detoriated and now since last 2 months, the gap of passing stool has become very inconsistent and sometimes becomes 2-3 days. Any suggestion whether some other medication routine can be followed?

Continue the medicines for all diagnosis
ask her to apply locally
ointment anovate by index finger first on butthole than gentaly inside anus so mucosa of anus covered with oint. Stool passes easily. Duphalac to continue.
Oint application two times a day for three weeks.

Yes you can go for simple walks (preffered) or slow jogging, depend upon your stamina to bear it but please do not burden yourself extra for the sake of exercise and do not follow another person who may be in a position to exercise more than you.
