Dear lybrate-user. Thanks for the question. The hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (better known as hCG) is produced during pregnancy. Because dengue is caused by a virus, there is no specific medicine or antibiotic to treat it, the only treatment is to treat the symptoms. For typical dengue, the treatment is purely concerned with relief of the symptoms (symptomatic). Rest and fluid intake for adequate hydration is important.

Human chorionic gonadotropin, which is the primary constituent of Lupi-Hcg 5000 IU Injection, is obtained from the placental cells of pregnant women and is used to treat infertility in women and men. It is also used to treat delayed puberty issues in children. Use of this medicine in pregnant women is not recommended. Talk to your gynecologist regarding this. Take care.

A urine pregnancy test looks for a hormone called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) that is found in the urine during pregnancy. Having your period during the test should not interfere with the accuracy of these results. Within about 2 weeks after conception, there is enough of this hormone to show up in the urine.
