There are many causes for rise in blood pressure including dyslipidemia, kidney diseases, cardiac disease etc. Sometimes the cause is not known and it is called as essential hypertension.
Exercises and jogging are beneficial but you should take care while doing exercises because exercises also lead to temporary rise in blood pressure. So first of all control your blood pressure nicely with medication and then start jogging.
