You should never discontinue medication on your own even if you are feeling better. Consult your doctor and if you are not happy with that person go for a second opinion. In the meantime meet a counselor too and get a lot of help regarding handling the daily stresses and challenges with some skills and techniques. If you look too far into the future, you will be scared. Most of what you are scared about does not happen: as I remember in the last count 90% of what we worry about will not happen. ...more

Hello lybrate-user
your doctors advice is right
ativan and lonazep both are benzodiazepines which cause dependence. Meaning you can get addicted to them.
In the long term the addiction will result in memory disturbances, gait disturbances etc which you must avoid right now.
Reduce it slowly over two months but do reduce it.

Zolpidem and clonazepam are not to be taken for long. Olimelt as you say can cause weight gain. There are ways to counter this or alternates which give sleep on long run without causing harm. Consult a psychiatrist and seek remedy. Good luck.

Tinnitus is a common problem usually associated with deafness. It is of two types, subjective and objective. The medicines you take are pretty good but I suggest that you combine it with some counseling. Anxiety has all to do with fear and your inability (or so you would tend to think) to handle the same. In your case it is about the exam. You need some confidence. Fear is based on looking too much into the future and imagining things that usually do not tend to happen (usually 90% of your fears will not happen). Now this will disturb your study if you worry about the exam. Concentrating her-and-now mi...more

I think. As you r on medication since 2011 for ocd wid relieving symptoms. Symptoms you mentioned might be part of restless leg syndrome. Which can be because of medications ,anxiety. And other causes. Usually benzodiazepine like clonazepam is used which you r already taking. Yes in addition to this you can try trihexyphendyl or levodopa carbamamazapine. For your symptoms. U can also avoid caffeine. Maintain sleep hygiene. Leg massage can also help.

Dear, do not worry. There are no known significant side effects to these medicines. You should work with your psychiatrist to get the better treatment. Please do not self diagnosis and self treat. Depression is usually treated with a combination of psychotherapy, medicines, exercise and meditation. You are already happy with the medicines. I suggest psychotherapy and other methods. If you are willing to start treatment on these aspects, let me know. Take care.

I am not convinced with medicine you are taking other than thyroid hormone for hypothyroidism. These symptoms may be due to hypothyroidism but may be increased with ciplar LA and lonazep. Please consult a Physician.
