You seem to have a very low self esteem and are low on self confidence. You will need to go through intensive psychotherapy. Consult a good psychologist/ psychotherapist, who can help you understand your fears, mental blocks and help you overcome your low self confidence. Medicine ca...more

Dear, Kindly go to the psychiatrist you visiting for your complaints. Who gave you the prescription to use lonazep 0.25 since 2 years. You might be feeling some vertigo but your doctor will clarify you whether its a symptom due to medication usage or is it a vertigo. If possible visit an Ent doctor too. Get well soon.

At 68 yrs, this medicine can be taken as long as the patient wants. The side effects are not much as compared to the benefits of taking it.

Dear Avi Kumar,
Lonazep reduces your anxiety about your bowel movements and food intake. When you are less anxious, your bowel movements are regular. If you are not constipated, plies will not bleed nor come out. Not that piles is cured.

You seem to be suffering from anxiety disorder rather than a psvt. Loazep (clonazepam) is a powerful anxiolytic, but is not advisable in such high doses as you use over a long period of time, as it produces cognitive changes, disinhibition, personality changes, etc. Anxiety also produces hypertension. I suggest you to consult a psychiatrist and gradually reduce clonazepam, which will be replaced with ssris as necessary. Ciplar on a longer run can be taken. All the best.

Get re-assessed. It is important that a thorough re-assessment is done followed by medication plan is made. Also to be able to understand why you didn't respond to other medication. 5 years is long and you probably will need to have long term treatment where clonazepam (lonazep) will definitely not modify the disease. So clonazepam can only be a small part of the treatment and nothing beyond. Thanks.

Lybrate user,
Lonazep has nothing to do with cholesterol. Cholesterol has often related with diet.
