You can eat everything having fruits and greem vegitable except drinks and smoke. Yes tough to treat mdr but eat medicine as adv pulmonologist and under go periodical investigation.

Vomiting can be due to anything like 1. Heat and eating pipe ulceration, 2. Jaundice due to mdr tb medicines. I can help but require some reports. 1 xray chest report, 2. Liver function test report (latest)

Dear lybrate-user, MDR treatment is possible and with proper medication it can be cured. It is a 2 year long battle but if you are ready to fight, you can win. I am too far away from your place but I will advice you that if you can't get good treatment locally then approach doctors in New Delhi. The government TB program is robust now, you can approach them.

Yes. It is necessary to know which drugs are working for the patient correctly. Genexpert and culture will only say that this is MDR tb but not the pattern of resistance to other drugs. The patient can also be further resistant to multiple drugs and not doing drug susceptibilty may miss an XDR tb. This can jeopardize the complete treatment
