The answer depends upon the usage. Lignocaine 2% jelly is a local anesthetic jelly. Please refer to your doctor who has prescribed it. Donot buy medicines based on pharmacists advise or just based on a internet search.

Hi, I understand your concern. Post-circumcision it's common to have some oedema or swelling of the penis and surrounding area. The pain and burning should settle in 5-7 days. Some ice and lox jelly should work fine. However if it's too painful, swollen, redness along with copious discharge, it is advisable to have a consultation. Regards

Lox -2% jelly works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases the sensation of pain. Lidocaine belongs to a class of medications called as local anesthetics. It works by stopping the sensation of pain by acting on peripheral nerves in the body.Lox -2% jelly is used for piles, local anaesthesia and mouth sores. It is not meant for anal sex

It will work & will ease the pain, bt lox gel is actually lidocaine, which is a local anaesthetic. It will not cure or prevent complications. Even if the severity of the disease is increased, you won't feel as it will stop your pain perception. I would advise you please don't use it as sole medication for constipation.
There are better ways & medicines to treat your issue fully. You can consult me online in this app for further help.
