Sir, you already are on three medications for your Hypertension. Lercanidipin, Atenolol and Losartan. All these medicines have their own share of side-effects. Your doctor must have prescribed them to you with a purpose. May be that your blood pressure was not coming under control with single drug. Along with the drugs have you exercise schedule in place. Stop taking Losartan and change to a safer drug by consulting your doctor. muscle cramps may be because of dehydration. So drink plenty of water and salts like common salt. Losartan has side effects on cardio vascular system. So changing the drug is more prudent.

Yes. Losartan can cause dey cough similar to ace inhibitors. This cough is more likely to occur in patients who had cough with ace inhibitor. For any advice to change medicine, full record needs review.
