Dear lybrateuser,
- Do steam inhalation twice a day
- instill two drops of normal saline solution in each nostril twice a day
- avoid exposure to cold weather, dust or smoke
- do an x- ray paranasal sinus to rule out nasal septum problem or a polyp or sinusitis
- have a well balanced diet with more of fruits, vegetables & protein foods to boost your immunity, also have plenty of oral fluids for proper hydration.

Hii,
If she is planning pregnancy, I would suggest you not to take Itraconazole. It has mixed reviews for pregnant women. Initially it's FDA pregnancy prescribing status was C ( Risk cannot be ruled out, human studies lacking), while few newer studies favour its use.
For a minor fungal infection, I guess it's Tinea / Ringworm in your case, I would suggest you to use only topical antifungals like Clotrimazole, Miconazole, alongwith Antihistaminics like chlorpheniramine maleate, Cet...more

It is important to first identify the cause of your skin allergy before starting any treatment. I would recommend consulting a dermatologist who can perform a physical examination and run tests if needed to determine the cause of your allergy.
In the meantime, to relieve the itching, you can try using over-the-counter antihistamines like cetirizine or loratadine, and applying calamine lotion or hydrocortisone cream to the affected areas. Avoid scratching as it can worsen the itching and pote...more

Typically, pityriasis rosea will usually clear on its own within 6-8 weeks without medical intervention. The most common symptom is itching, which can be treated with topical steroid creams (like hydrocortisone cream) and oral antihistamines (like diphenhydramine [Benadryl], loratadine [Claritin], etc.).
Neem is the easiest and most cost effective remedy for pityriasis rosea. It does not cost too much effort too. Boil one bucket of water and add a sheaf of neem leaves to it. Boil for seven m...more

It is very common for patients with nasal obstruction to develop clogged ear as well. The back of the nose opens into a tunnel also known as the Eustachian tube. This tube goes up to the ear. In case the ears get clogged the pressure is released by popping of the ears. This is achieved by swallowing, yawning, and trying to blow the nose. When ear pops the tunnel opens and allows the pressure to release from the ear.
