- Do steam inhalation twice a day
- instill two drops of normal saline solution in each nostril twice a day
- avoid exposure to cold weather, dust or smoke
- do an x- ray paranasal sinus to rule out nasal septum problem or a polyp or sinusitis
- have a well balanced diet with more of fruits, vegetables & protein foods to boost your immunity, also have plenty of oral fluids for proper hydration.

Hii,
If she is planning pregnancy, I would suggest you not to take Itraconazole. It has mixed reviews for pregnant women. Initially it's FDA pregnancy prescribing status was C ( Risk cannot be ruled out, human studies lacking), while few newer studies favour its use.

For a minor fungal infection, I guess it's Tinea / Ringworm in your case, I would suggest you to use only topical antifungals like Clotrimazole, Miconazole, alongwith Antihistaminics like chlorpheniramine maleate, Cet...more
