Hi lybrate-user,
please don't quit it all of a sudden. The rule is to gradually taper it and then discontinue it. Please consult your doctor, tell him your current state and if you are feeling better tell him to reduce the dose. You have to complete the full course of the medication otherwise you will have elapse. So don't take nay risk. You can consider changing your doctor also.

No. It would lead to serious effects. Delrium is a life threatening emergency which you have recovered from. Even lorazepam needs to be stopped and alternatives given. Never think of alcohol. Consult a psychiatrist and seek remedy. All the best.
