I have taken flagyl, ors almost evey hour and ridol 2 tablets to control this infection. Feeling a lot better than before. Still I have some sensation in my lower body. There is some irritation down there. I have to use the washroom every now and then either for urine or tool.

Hello Doctor, My mother’s age is 55 and her weight is 84 kg. She is having some digestion problem. She needs to go to the loo the moment she eats anything. Most of the times whenever she has to move out she takes tablet ridol. She avoids to eat anything when she is out as she feels she may need the loo. I do not understand what is this problem and are the any home remedies to avoid this problem.

She might have worms and infection in stomach as well it suggests weakness of the digestive sysytem. For that she should have green leafy vegetables and easily digestible diet. She should be tension free. Advice her for stress management.

Do not take ridol. Sounds like food poisoning. If water loss is making patient dehydrated then may need some iv fluid replacement. And a course of antibiotics at the max.

I'm having an ibs since 26 years, done colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy before no ibd found. Frequent toilet visit. extremely weak digestion system. Taking ridol tablet 2 per day to stop going toilet. Need to do manual evacuation and that's why I am having piles and blood in the stool. Please kindly suggest me any medication and laboratory tests for get rid of ibs disease permanently. Ibs ruined my entire childhood and youngster days. Due to frequently toilet visit can't go out with friends and family very embarrassing and stressful. Need to find toilet every time in case going out. This ibs is extremely stressful and traumatic and ruined my life. Please kindly suggest me permanent medicine for ibs and relive stress as well. Tried many doctors and many medicine but nothing worked on this deadly disease. Please give answer in detail, not in one line.

I am suffering in chronic dysentery from more than 20 years ago. I have been moving to a number of doctors. My problem now is loose motion and several times I have to go to toilet in 24 hours. Sometimes only gas associated with some oil/ fat are going out. Fortunately I have found this website lately and a treatment is continued. I was suggested to take ORS to control loose motion. It is found OK. Also I was suggested to take ROKO capsule to control frequency of motion. But this capsule is not available in my place. So I kindly request you to give any alternative medicine which may be available here in stead of ROKO capsule. Thanks with Regards.

You must complete th antibiotic course for 5 days. Please add ors ilitre to be sipped throuout the day. As for loperamide, I would not advise too many tablets.
