Dear Lybrateuser, - The pain if not controlled by medication will require further investigation & your treating cardiologist would decide if she requires angioplasty or bypass - she should follow a heart healthy diet with more of fibrous food like vegetables & fruits, whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts
- she should be regular in her exercise schedule as given by the doctor.

Thanks for the query.
TGL 206 mg is not really needing any treatment. Secondly unless actual TSH level is mentioned it is difficult give an opinion about that. Usually treatment of hypothyroidism has to be continued for lifetime. As regards borderline diabetes, if your HbA1c% is 6.5, then there is definite diabetes, which needs to be treated with appropriate drugs, diet control and exercise. Thanks.

Avoid medicines for correcting laboratory numbers. This medicine benefits patients after having blockage illness, not before falling sick. Cholesterol should be constantly above 300 before starting this medicine. I suggest you learn about good health from healthy ninety year olds, don't believe anyone else.

A transesophageal echo (tee) test is a type of echo that uses a long, thin, tube (endoscope) to guide the ultrasound transducer down the esophagus (“food pipe” that goes from the mouth to the stomach). This lets the doctor see pictures of the heart without the ribs or lungs getting in the way.
