Dear user. Thanks for the question. Do not panic. Uterine fibroids may cause heavier than normal or prolonged menstrual bleeding. Polyps. Small, benign growths on the lining of the uterus (uterine polyps) may cause heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding. You should talk to your gyecologist in detail about the bleeding you are experiencing. Gynecologist should be able to help you. Take care.

Take 2 white pills within 120 hours after unprotected sex and 2 more white pills 12 hours later. Each dose contains 0.5 mg of levonorgestrel and 100 µg of ethinyl estradiol. Emergency contraception works up to 5 days after unprotected sex. The sooner you take it, the better it will work. Take these pills 12 hours after taking the first set of pills. If you want to use birth control pills for emergency contraception, you must take 2 doses 12 hours apart.
