Hello,
you need to be very careful about risk of recurrence of symptoms in pregnancy as it is a high risk state for patients with bipolar disorder. Quitipin 50 mg per day is too low a dose. You should consult online or consult with your psychiatrist about pregnancy.

Antidepressants do not have side effects which cannot be managed. Depression has worse effects on health and general well being of a person than side effects of medications if any.
Lithium tests are advised usually if you already are taking any medications for your problem. It is a mood stabilizer and used for resistant relapsing depressions or bipolar disorders.
Consult online for any queries and assistance.

Lithium causes a lot of side effects. Facial puffiness being one of them
its always good to consult before you start a medication. Without examination it is nearly impossible to comment on your health status
Medicines can only be told once examined as they should not harm in any way if not benefitting.
