if you have never experienced this problem, then you need to start *an antibiotic immediately. *a decongestant medicine
*avoid water entry in the ear.
*avoid shampooing for atleast 10 days till the ear discharge dries up.
*get a pure tone audiometry and tympanometry done. These tests can detect ear drum perforation.
Otoendoscopy may also be done

Although a physical examination is required to reach to a correct diagnosis and treatment given accordingly but I will suggest you to take below given homoeopathic medicines for 5-7 days------------
merc-dulcis 30 (dr reckeweg) drink 2 drops 3 times daily direct on tongue----------------
calc-sulph 6x (dr reckeweg) chew 4 tabs every 2-3 hrly----------
mullein oil ear drops (sbl) pour 2 drops in both ears 3 times daily-------------------------

Avoid going in sun from 11 to 4 noon
If it is must, wear white, loose clothes so that body will be airy
Take plenty of water,
Take lemon juice, kairy ka panha, butter milk, oimli ka pani, fresh mausambi or orange juice regularly
Avoid excess tea coffee
Avoid oily spicy and fast food
Avoid going out just after heavy lunch
In these days lunch and dinner should be very light
Take seasonal fresh fruits like water melon etc

Check up is must from ear surgeon that must be due to injury or infection of the ears drum, water entry is not et al a problem.
