Hello. We generally recommend cholesterol lowering medicine in the night as the synthesis of cholesterol in the liver is highest in the night. In other words, night time is a better time for better effect.

Yes you do... And you may consider taking homoeopathic treatment instead which does not have such side effects or complications...and treats the conditions naturally.

Rosuvas is required AFTER heart attack, or very rarely, if cholesterol is above 320. It has many side effects that worsen health if taken without correct reason.

Hello, thanks for writing in. Rosuvastatin like other statins can have headache and dry or sore eyes as a symptom. Having said that, headache could be a manifestation of other causes including stress. If the headache is severe and a daily occurrence, I would suggest you meet the physician who prescribed the meds. As for the watery eyes, try using lubricating eye drops like tear plus or lubrex eye drops 4 times a day for a month and see if it helps.

Life style modification for a month is advised. Got to check fasting lipid profile after one month. If its still high, better to start on meds, especially if you have a family history of heart diseases or stroke.

Rosuvastatin is a medicine for dyslipidemias and not for hypertension. Consult your prescribing doctor for the reason it was started. In patients with coronary artery diseases and diabetes usually life long some lipid lowering drug is required. The dose and the actual drug can be modified depending upon certain parameters.
Visit your cardiologist or endocrinologist for the same.

Though the new medicines have been arrived, please do not go for that unless and untill your physician prescribes you on medical basis with permission of WHO.
Do not risk your life with such new outcomings.
Take care :)
