Eslo (amlodipine) should not be taken in pregnancy. There are other medicines like labetalol and methyldopa which should be taken for high BP in pregnancy.

she needs frequent monitoring, bp medicine should be M dopa/ labetalol/ nifedipiine as found suitable by the gynae who is examining her. Salt restriction, foetal monitoring necessary

Labetalol can be used to decrease the blood pressure in short time but it require proper monitoring so it will be better if you use consultation option to better monitor him.
