Paste is definitely better than powder as tooth powder is more abrasive and will abrade the teeth.
Use mouth wash half an hour after brushing.
Clohex ADS is good.

For cavity problems, the toothpaste you mentioned will not reduce the risk of cavity problems
for not decaying if you have acute carious activity in your mouth. For that
1. If you do not have fluorosis then
3m clinpro 5000 1.1% toothpaste (its expensive than the other toothpaste available in the market)
or enafix toothpaste.
Reduces risk for cavity and make enamel strong
also
1. Correct brushing technique
2. Flossing daily
3. Use of mouthwash like chlorhexidin...more

If the mouth ulcer is causing a lot of pain, gently rub a small ice cube over the spot or rinse your mouth with ice-cold water. You could also chew on a clove bud (lavang) and direct the juice generated to the area where the ulcer is located. Clove buds are a great ingredient to cure sore throat too. To prevent the ulcerated area from getting infected, make it a point to rinse your mouth with a little salt water. Remember, this won’t make the ulcer disappear, but it can help reduce the pain.

Hi,
brush twice a day with soft toothbrush and fluoridated toothpaste. You can use any fluoridated toothpaste from any company, try and use one with soft bristles. It is not really the brush / paste that decides the cleaning efficiency, but the technique of brushing which ensures clean teeth and healthy gums.

Hi,
teeth have a protective layer called enamel with age the enamel wears off and become thin which causes to become teeth sensitive to cold and hot. You need to get a professional check up done to know the exact cause and solution of your problem. Without checking you clinically we can't suggest anything.
