Is she febrile? maybe it is allergic cough. Try giving levocet-m syrup 5 ml daily once in the evening and report privately. Send reports of her cbc, absolute eosinophil count and tsh.

Your mother is taking the inhalational therapy whcih is the gold standard therapy. She needs to continue it. If she get worsening attacks, she can keep a nebulize at home and do nebulization in addition to inhalation regular.
