Gd evening everyone, here i'm writing this msg for the purpose of seeking advice from all of you regarding a prob that I have been facing since 2017. Actually I have been having a repetitive case of uti since 2017. I have seen many renowned doctors in kolkata particularly in forte, apollo and medica but they could not manage to treat my problem. First time it was mrsa doctor prescribed me with doxycycline which I took for almost a month. The symptoms went away but after 4-5 months it reappeared again. Since that time it's been coming at an interval of 5-6 months. From 2019 onwards the root cause has been e.coli.i have tried doxy, nitrofurantoin, linezolid, bactrim, levo as of now but whenever I take medications the symptoms go away then again reappears after 4 to 5 months. In oct 2021 I got an urs done to check what actually has happened inside but doctor didn't find anything. The most surprising thing is that urine culture doesn't come positive all the time but still the symptoms are present and creatinine level is 1 or sometimes 1.1 nd others blood reports are also normal. Now a days i'm experiencing a pain in my groin areas and back. I think now this untreated infection has led to pyelonephritis don't know what I should do right now. If doctors from forte, apollo can't even treat the prob then whom should I go to with this case? please give me some suggestions to get rid of this permanently.

To rule out the problem get an ultrasound abdomen pelvis and also ct abdo as you have this persistent problem. Refer to a nearby urologist after the reports.

4 days back I developed pain in shoulder (torso). Here is details of my condition 12th April 2016: Shoulder pain started at 3pm. At 7pm I checked fever it was 99.1 which continued till morning of 13th April. 13th April 2016: Shoulder pain continued through day. Fever at 9am was 99.3. Took medicine crocin (paracetamol) at 9am. Fever dropped after an hour. Developed two boils (transparent in colour) one on left side of shoulder and other one on left side of wrist. At 8pm fever was back and was 102. Took medicine Crocin (Paracetamol) at 9: 30pm, Took levo Cetirizine 5mg at 10pm, took Ranitidine 150mg at 10: 30pm, took Fever dropped within couple of hours had no fever till 4pm of 14th April 2016.14th April 2016: Shoulder pain continued through day. Fever at 4pm was 100. Took medicine crocin (paracetamol) at 4pm. Fever dropped after an hour. Developed lot of boils all over body (above thigh) (transparent in colour). Developed sore throat in the afternoon. Had 100 fever and backpain throughout night. Had pain in eyes. 15th April 2016: Shoulder pain, pain in eyes and backpain continues in the morning as I am writing this mail. Body temperature (fever) is normal. Have taken no medicine since 4pm of 14th April.

Hello doctor. I am sick from december last week. Had severe cough and cold. Entire jan I consulted general physician and got bronchitis related medicine but did not help me 1%also. Feb 2nd week consulted ent. After sinus scan, he told me I have severe sinus and 8areas are impacted. He also took allergy test and advised me allergens to avoid. Medicine and nasal spray helped me 50%only. Then I consulted pulmonologist, he told me I have cough variant asthma. He gave me injunction and medicine which helped me 100%. But he suggested me to stop all sinus medicine including nasal spray. After 15 days of medicine, now slowly i'm getting severe headache and postnasal drip and slightly coughing as well. After medicine I tried to meet the doctor but due to covid he has to close the clinic and working at govt hospital. However, pharmacy guy helped me to person my msg to the Dr. Dr suggested to continue old medicine that is ascovent sr 200 mg and hh levo m plus maxiflo 2puffs twice a day. It's been 5 days I started taking this medicine but these symptoms I still have. So I started sinus medicine as well but I don't see any difference. Now i'm worried if I need to check for cavity or is it due to normal sinus. Can someone help. My Dr. is not available not even on phone.

I would suggest you to continue both sinus as well as pulmo medicines for 2 weeks atleast. Because if you have pan sinusitis, it will take a minimum of 2-4 weeks for post nasal drip to stop with nasal spray. Post nasal drip can also contribute to cough. As for now, start on nasal decongestant drops like otrivin just for 5 days. Please contact for more details
