If you have not had any seizures or fits in 5 years you can speak to your neurologist regarding reducing and maybe stoping the levipil. The module may remain but if you don't have fits then there's no further treatment required.

Dear friend,
it will not affect your course if you don't have a break through the seizure. However, if you miss your timed dose please take it mediately (it is okay even if you take it in the later half of the day) to maintain a steady drug level in your blood. Henceforth, please don't miss your medication. You have a serious problem if you have a breakthrough seizure. Best wishes.

Hello lybrate-user,
I understand you have epilepsy and are on medication levitracetam how ever I do not understand why you can not undergo hair transplant. Thjere may be some drug interactions with the drugs prescribed at the time of hair transplant but I am sure this can be obviated by careful selection of the medications.

Levetiracetam is used with other medications to treat seizures (epilepsy). It belongs to a class of drugs known as anticonvulsants. Levetiracetam may decrease the number of seizures you have.Levacetam 500 Tablet is an anti-epileptic medicine. It is used to control and prevent epileptic seizures. You may experience sleepiness and irritability while taking this medicine. This medicine should not be stopped abruptly without consulting your doctor as it may increase the occurrence of fits.
