Asked for female, 20 years old from Chandigarh

I am having JME and having levetiracetam 250 mg from the last three years. I did not get any seizure in these 3 years. For how long I have to continue my medicine? I got only one seizure before getting the treatment and my MRI and CT Scan reports were all normal.

From what I studied I found no major interaction between Vitamin C and the aforementioned drugs your Husband is taking.However please consult your treating Doctor for further guidance.

Sir my mother got fits/seizure before 7 months only one time. After that she is normal taking torleva 500 mg at night only. She is aged 65. Weight 60 kgs. No BP. No Sugar. Now she has lower leg back muscle pain. (I think this is a side effect of torleva 500 mg. Please advice me sir) While leg pain is more, she takes Nimulid and aciloc150 along with torleva 500 @ nights only. Daily since 4 months she is taking (Pankaja kasthuri Ayurvedic ortho herb tablets) daily Morning 2 nos and night 2 nos. Any other tablets (with low side effect) to cure leg pain, please advice me sir. Expecting for your valuable advice. Thanks sir.

You can use ketokid milk powder for your mother this is for only seizure patients. This is very helpful. Check her ketone level.

I am 30 years old. I will get small seizures with my knowledge(max of 2 minutes). I get to know before it comes and I will inform others to get some water. Frequency- 1 or 2 times / month. It is important not to get fits as far as possible during pregnancy so it was wrong decision to stop without asking doctor. Now continuing same meet Neuro-physician who will decide either to continue same or to change to another anti-epileptic drug.

Hello I had one episode of seizure in 2016 since then I am on medication torleva 500xr once a day last month I had viral infection after that I have twice weakness tremor pain in hand and leg nerves so Dr. Told me medication nurokind d3 once a day and d3 60k solution once a week but pain and anxiety is still there pls help me.

there is absolutely no reason to have anxiety as you are taking the medication and have been seizure free. The episodes you had now are not suggestive of seizure activity I suggest you continue on the medication and stop worrying.

I am a JME (Juvenile Mio Epilepsy-Seizure Disorder) patient and taking valparin chrono 500 twice daily. Now I want to conceive and am suggested to take levera 500 and continuously decrease the dose of valparin as valparin is not safe for pregnancy but I came to know from internet that levera is also not safe. Is it? please reply. One more question, if I do not take any neuro medicine during pregnancy and attack happens. Will it harm my baby?

Tab levera (leveteracetum) is safest antiepileptic in pregnancy ,every antiepileptic drug has some degree of teratogenicity ,but leveras is the lowest and teratogenicity of valporate is highest.
Antiepileptics should be taken during pregnancy because epileptic attack during pregnancy is very harmful for the baby.

Apart from taking ongoing treatment I will suggest you to take tablet folvite 5mg once a day and tablet vitamind (60000iu) once a week for six months and increase your self confidence.
