Hello-
women taking levepsy may develop pcos, while men may have sperm abnormalities and/or sexual dysfunction. Liver enzyme inducing aeds may also cause menstrual and sexual disorders in women and sexual dysfunction in men. Newer aeds are much safer but studies still suggest reduced sexuality and erectile dysfunction.

She should be investigated further if she hads first time seizure at this age. Continue leviteracetam for her seizure disorder, post ictal confusion adn psychological changes occur but may be transient, better to get evaluated by a psychiatrist or a neurologist, if the confusion is prolonged. Brahmi may be given but thet will not be all. Please get evaluated.

Hello,
you are obviously having generalized seizures for which medication has been prescribed. Seizures I am sure have been investigated by imaging of the head. Coming back to your question there are certain precautions to be taken. You should not drive at the moment, do not go into water, lean from heights or go close to fire. You can work and carry out your job but avoid undue fatigue and heve normal sleep hours.

Dear User, the seizures will stop as long a you take the medication. Once you stop it or abruptly stop it, the seizures can come back and might even be worse than before. Hence it is advisable to continue the medication as your Doctor prescribed. If you found my answer helpful, please leave a Positive feedback as it helps me with my Practice. Thank you.
