But each ones absorption and duration of action is modified by manufacturing process of the drug.
If your doctor has prescribed it for fits control, she/he must have calculated the peak action of the drug around the time of fits. So, take accordingly for effective control of fits.

Its safe to take levipil and you can continue with the protein supplement. There are no interactions.

Levetiracetam is supposed to be effective in controlling seizures during pregnancy and relatively free of teratogenic side effects. However, data on its efficacy and teratogenicity during pregnancy are limited

you need to furnish a few more details, there is nothing like an unknown epilepsy, there is a standard classification of epilepsies and I would like to know the details of your onset, frequency, type of seizure, family history, response to medication, precipitating factors and other details of your epilepsy to classify it.
