Ideally ovulation occurs between 10-14 day of cycle but it may vary according to individual cycles. So start intercourse on day 10 and uptil 15-16 days. So when we give letrozole or any kind of ovulation inducing medicines we ask patient to go for follicular monitering to know about the size of egg and when it ruptures so that we can tell you exactly when it ruptures and when to have intercourse.

You have a chance for getting pregnant if you have sex in your fertile window of periods and letrozole will increase chances .Femara (generic name is letrozole) is an oral drug which can be an effective fertility treatment for women with ovulation problems, or for those with unexplained infertility. This medication is in a class of drug called aromatase inhibitors. Femara has mainly been used to treat certain cases of breast cancer.

Yes letrozole can be taken for maximum six cycles, thereafter should go for other methods. Whether you can skip letroz or not depends on the state of your ovaries on d2 or 3 of your cycle. Depending on the findings it can be decided.
